Mantageri, a Chinese illustrator now based in GA, USA, is also a printmaker, handmade ceramics creator, chef, magical realism literature enthusiast, surfer and rock climber. Her work is passionate about the visual translation of ethnography and folk culture, weaving stories into editorial, publishing, advertising, and furniture design markets.

Currently, she is an illustration intern at the Smithsonian Center of Folklife and Cultural Heritage, dedicated to the documentation and creation of Indigenous American culture.
